The mission of Holy Spirit School is to serve God by providing a challenging academic education within the Catholic Tradition.
I joined the Holy Spirit Staff during the 2017-18 school year.
For the past five years I have been teaching 4K and the Coordinator of the childcare program. This year I stepped away from the Childcare coordinator position and am working just a few hours of childcare each week, while I continue to teach 4k each morning.
Here’s how I made my way back to Catholic education after starting my teaching career at St. Thomas More in Appleton. I spent 10 years with the wonderful families and children at that school teaching 3K and 4K. I next moved into the position as Developmental Screening Coordinator for the Appleton School District. I was longing to get back into the classroom, so I took a 4K teaching position within the Oshkosh Area School. After 2 years teaching 4K, I moved into teaching kindergarten at Washington Elementary in Oshkosh. I was missing the connections that I had with families and the children while teaching in Catholic education, so when the opportunity arose at Holy Spirit, I felt it was the right time for me.
I’m looking forward to this school year to walk in and see familiar faces from the staff to the families. My own family is also grateful for the Holy Spirit family and the joy it has brought to my life.
My husband, Mike, and I have been married for over 34 years. We have two daughters: Erin and Abbie. Erin is a Nurse at UW Madison Hospital. She has been married for four years to Adam, they make their home in Brooklyn, WI with their dachshund Charlie. They are expecting our first Grandchild this January,
My daughter, Abbie, graduated from US Oshkosh and she works for Salelytics as an account support specialist. She works from home and loves it/ She lives in DePere with her kitty Mia.
We also have a dachshund named Henry who loves to go for walks and snuggle. In my free time, I enjoy going to our cottage, working-out with my “gym family”, going for walks and bike rides with my family, shopping and reading.
Wishing you all well!
