It is an honor to serve my parish as our school’s principal. For more than 130 years, Holy Spirit Catholic School (formerly Holy Angels and Holy Name) has been a staple in the Darboy/Kimberly community. Generations of students received a Catholic education here, which formed the foundations from which they have become productive, contributing citizens. I moved to the Darboy area when I was 9 years old and call this area home. I received my college degree from Marquette University, where I double majored in Communication Studies and Elementary Education. I received my masters in administration in 2013 from National Louis University and hold certifications in both Director of Instruction (Curriculum) and Principal. I started my teaching career in 2008 at Holy Spirit, where I taught middle school math. After I received my masters, I started my administration career at St. Mary Catholic Schools where I was the Assistant Principal at the high school for one year and the Principal at St. Mary Catholic Middle School for three years. I truly am excited to be back at Holy Spirit, where I’ve been the principal since 2018. My wife Lyndsay and I have three sons: Zack, Nicholas and Charlie. I have the privilege of bringing Zack, Nicholas, and Charlie (MWF) with me to Holy Spirit. During the summer months, I enjoy spending time with my family on the lake in Minocqua, where Lyndsay is from.
I literally have attended Catholic schools my entire life. I went through the Xavier system in Appleton, attending Xavier High School then Marquette University in Milwaukee. Catholic schools are unique because we are able to not only teach content, but teach students about being a good person using the lessons of Jesus. Being at Holy Spirit, we strive to create a family atmosphere where staff know the students by name. We look forward to welcoming you to the Holy Spirit family!
