Hello! My name is Beth Dunphy and I am thrilled to teach Middle School Religion at Holy Spirit School. I graduated from Marquette University in 2004 with a double major of Communication Studies and Elementary Education. Right out of college, I was hired as the 5th grade teacher at Holy Spirit and taught here for five years. In 2010, I decided to stay home with my growing family, but continued to sub in the building the last 10+ years. I am excited to be back "home" here teaching Religion to the 6th and 7th grade classes.
My husband, Kyle, is a high school Special Ed teacher in Kaukauna and our three children attend Catholic Schools--our oldest is at Xavier High School and our other two are here at Holy Spirit. As a family, we like traveling on road trips, gardening, and taking care of our backyard chickens on our suburban "farm".
I am a product of Catholic education literally my entire academic career--I attended Xavier Catholic Schools from preschool through high school, and then a private university. I am a big believer in the importance and power of Catholic education in a child's life. I absolutely love Jesus and getting kids fired up about their faith through Christian music, Bible confidence, and treating others like Jesus would. I am looking forward to this school year together! God is good, all the time! Jesus, we trust in You!
