I am Michelle Bongers, and I am the Reading Specialist, where I work with students that need a little extra help with their reading skills.I graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2011 with a major in Elementary Education, minored in English. I completed my Masters in Reading Education from Grand Canyon University in 2023.Since 2014, I had been teaching at James Madison Middle School in Appleton, teaching 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts. I made the switch to Holy Spirit for the 2023-2024 school year.I am so happy to be teaching at the same school that my children attend. My son Justin, and my daughters Hailey and Faith also attend Holy Spirit.My favorite activities include reading, running, and waterskiing! My husband Mike and I are on the Waterboard Warriors Waterski Show Team and love performing for the crowds all summer.I am so grateful to be a part of the Holy Spirit family! I love that this school has such a positive atmosphere, high expectations for students, and kids that love learning!
