Hi, my name is Alexa Zook. I began teaching at Holy Spirit in 2018. I have taught 5th grade and technology. I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, in the central lower peninsula. I went to school at Grand Valley State University in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. I graduated in 2006 with a degree in elementary education. I substitute taught for a year, and then taught preschool at a local day care. In 2010, I moved to the Fox Valley and have lived here ever since. I taught in the two year old room at a local day care, and then in the spring of 2013, I decided to stay home with my children, and run an in home day care center. I was hired on to teach at Holy Spirit in the summer of 2018. I live in Neenah with my husband Todd, and our twin daughters Payton and Hannah. I am an avid reader, and I love swimming, running, and baking. I love to learn, and I teach so I can pass my passion for learning on to the next generation. My favorite thing about teaching is watching students have an “ah-ha” moment and finally conquer a challenge. This is my first experience teaching in a parochial school setting and I felt welcomed into this tight knit community right away. Holy Spirit is a wondering community. I love continueing to learn and grow here with the students!
