Claim a Private School Tuition Tax Deduction
Private school parents can benefit from Wisconsin’s K-12 tuition tax deduction by simply completing a one-page form with their 2019 state tax filing.
This is a state tax deduction that was won by WCRIS for private K-12 school parents across the state. But it does no good for private school families and schools unless parents claim it. A simple form can help families deduct up to $4,000 for K-8 tuition and $10,000 for 9-12 tuition on their state income taxes.
Holy Spirit’s FEIN number is: 39-0807237
Tuition statements showing your tuition transactions will be emailed to parents or guardians by January 31. You can include payments made on Kindergarten through grade 8 tuition fees. Please consult a tax professional if you have further questions.
Scrip
Scrip is an excellent program that benefits both families and the school. All K-8th grade registered families are required to earn $250 in SCRIP credit ($125 for PreSchool 3 and 4K only families) each school year, above and beyond tuition. Help our school and parish while purchasing food, gas and supplies for your family. Half of the profit that your purchases generate will be credited towards your SCRIP credit. The other half of the profit goes directly to the parish.
